Social Media Manager – San Francisco, CA.

The Social Media Manager will collaborate in a team environment and be able to execute in the fast-paced world by delivering relevant communications via our social media channels. This position involves working with our cause network and creating a strategy to harness the social channels of our cause network.

The Social Media Manager will report to the President. This is an onsite and full-time position with benefits.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Looking for a Social Media Rock Star willing to roll up sleeves and grow our Social Media department
  • Proven track record developing a social strategy that meets and surpasses department goals
  • Ability to develop and lead a best in class social media department by growing followers and engagement that supports RedBridge’s brand and suite of services
  • Ability to understand social channel development and create or repurpose content across the social stack to help drive website traffic, support revenue goals and grow followers
  • Innovate new, creative ways to use social platforms and digital content to tell stories and interact with the audiences across all channels
  • Ability to lead podcasts, monthly community broadcasts and be an evangelist that grows engagement and awareness of RedBridge’s offerings
  • Have an understanding of social selling that engages the audience and nurture NGOs through the marketing funnel
  • Respond to follower questions and concerns shared through social media.
  • Develop compelling visual artifacts and create content for social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Identify accounts to follow across social platforms and create lists for listening to influencers on relevant topics.
  • Participate in regular Twitter-chats.
  • Work cross-functionally with our partner NGOs and develop tactics that tell a local cause story and engage followers
  • Demonstrate an ability to seek out valuable social good and nonprofit thought-leadership content
  • Develop an overall social editorial plan in coordination with the President, and other stakeholders across RedBridge
  • Build, listen to, and cultivate the online community across RedBridge social channels
  • Provide insights and ongoing metrics


  • Minimum of 1 -3 years of experience working in social or digital media, creating engaging content and experiences
  • Experience using Hootsuite for publishing and social listening tool
  • A demonstrable passion for social media
  • Experience growing and engaging influencers and nurturing them through the marketing funnel
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Desired Experience

  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Passion for social media, online communities, social good and nonprofit innovation
  • Digital media graphic skills (Photoshop, Illustrator)

Sales Associate

Our stores are where the ultimate magic of RedBridge Trading comes to life, and our Sales Associates are vital to delivering customer service that offers a distinctive shopping experience and drives sales results. While all positions within RedBridge’s require working as part of a team to meet department and store objectives, your individual responsibilities as a Sales Associate may include demonstrating outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise and ready for sales events, or organizing the selling floor and stock areas.

Depending on location, we offer different types of Sales Associate positions, including Hourly Sales Associate and Supervisory Sales Associate roles. The RedBridge Hiring Manager conducting your interview will detail the type of position you’re interviewing for during your appointment, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions at that time.

Essential Functions:

  • Meeting and making a connection with customers, asking questions and listening to shoppers’ needs, then giving options and advice on meeting those needs
  • Inspiring the customer to buy,  sell celebrating the good their transaction creates, and creating a lasting positive impression of you, RedBridge and the Sale/Donation/Purchase.
  • Ensuring those demonstration areas are ready for customers by promptly clearing our merchandise and returning it to the proper area of the selling floor
  • Maintaining selling floor presentations, and restocking them as needed
  • Learning RedBridge systems and procedures to enhance selling/buying and donating efficiencies and complete support duties
  • Handle all returns courteously and professionally
  • Responsible for achieving personal sales goals and Big Dog Reward goals
  • Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting RedBridge’s commitment to our customer – the most important person in our stores
  • Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS procedures
  • Develop product knowledge by reading current vendor tags and pamphlets and attending our online training classes in order to communicate it to the customer
  • Be aware of current promotional campaigns and sales
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards
  • Adhere to Loss Prevention and inventory control and compliance procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality


  • Education/Experience:  Previous retail sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Communication Skills:  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.   Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.  Ability to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.
  • Mathematical Skills:  Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  Ability to use a calculator and calculate percentages and ratios.  Must be able to make change in American monetary units.
  • Reasoning Ability:  Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.  Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
  • Physical Demands:  This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours.  May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.  Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.
  • Other Skills:  Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
  • Work Hours:  Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.

Leads assigned location to achieve New Store Sales through consistent operational excellence, discipline, and a committed team who execute flawlessly. Is obsessive about our product, people and our customers. Supports District Manager by communicating company directives to their assigned store utilizing the one vision, one voice, one message strategy. The role of a Store Manager is to fulfill and execute the company mission statement on a daily basis.




Responsible for and expected to meet or exceed assigned sales plans and target metric objectives within assigned store.

Maintain a commitment to the company’s sales processes, values and business code of ethics.

Drives sales and monitors each MOD (Manager-on-Duty) segment and ensures patterns of poor performance are addressed.

Monitors employee/customer interactions and provides constructive feedback on ways employees can improve service and increase sales.

Responsible for driving customer traffic by participating in approved local events and/or marketing opportunities.



Ensures consistent execution of company’s marketing and visual presentation.

Proactively identifies various market opportunities and makes recommendations to district

Supervises employees by enforcing policies/procedures by documenting disciplinary

actions, performance evaluations, and reporting incidents to Human Resources and Senior Management regarding any violations of company policies/procedures and preparing related documentation.

Ensures all HR paperwork and training are current and kept in folders for associates per retention guidelines.

Ability to complete new hire and other human resources paperwork timely and accurately.



Responsible for managing the overall expense management and profitability of the assigned location including but not limited to Payroll, Expenses, and Supplies.

Completes the daily planner and ensures chat-ins and chat-outs during every shift.
